navct, the dash is going to look great. Please keep us posted. I tweeked mine again with a custom housing for the monster tach and re-arranged the dash plus added the aluminum plate to the heater controls.
Thanks folks. Mark that's exactly what being done this winter; new cross drilled slotted rotors, thunderbird calipers, hydroboost with F350 master cylinder, braided lines and Blackbird rear disc brake kit. I'll post the pics when it gets out of storage and the swap begins.
While not personally a fan of lambo door hinges, on lil_dq's truck it looks painful to get in and out of.
I do have a question for lil_dq, do you have a pic of how you routed your exhaust to those side exit exhaust? Thanks.
I need to move to a warmer climate, these winters give far to much time to make changes. Below is a dash that I'll be modifing this winter to better incorporate the rest of my dash mods.
A '79. Well I based the search on a big bearing F150 9" with 31 spline axles so you would fall in that group. I was trying to show that there are a lot of kits advertised but few actually fit when you check into it.
Well I did some searching for the same thing and found the following:B.C. Bronco - http://www.bcbroncos.com/rearbrakes08.html

I had a full stereo setup but I rarely used it so the first step was to install the gauges and see how much I missed it. The sightline is great for the gauges and after working out which hidden stereo to buy I realized I don't miss it so I'm going to do the full brake upgrade with the same money...
I picked up a B&M deep sump pan but the crossmember wants to occupy some of the same space. Anyone done this install and have some pics of the trimming you did? It's a '77 4X4. Thanks.
Those 44's make the bronco look just evil, love it. Great idea on the door handles, would longer matching shower handles work for the bed? Could you get one of those round billet gas doors to work if the paint doesn't match? I've tossed the idea around in my head but never had the part in hand...
Launching this heavy pig with big tires flexes on both the X & Y axis, that's why both the back and top support. I found the brace on a rock crawler site, it comes in four pieces pre-bent and cut for the radiuses. After checking fitment and a little trimming the bottom was welded to the top u...
Well I finally won the battle with the vent but the brake line and fitting didn't fair too well :rolling laugh:Once the threads in the axle tube were cleaned up it was the search for a 7/16" fine thread fitting. Ended up using a fine thread bolt and drilled it out on the lathe. Welded a tube...
Welding up the rear axle brace and I need to move my combination rear brake line junction and vent. How does this thing come off? It looks like the vent section passes through the distribution block and into the axle tube, is this correct? Thanks. This is a '77 F150 4X4 9" rear axle.
