Check your batteries. Low batteries on these trucks does funny things. Then check the GP relay. Your UVC harness may be coming lose as well. Which could also be a cause to not all glow plugs lighting up. Bluish/black smoke right after startup?

Well, the new BTS trans is in. No more trans issues. Now its time for the turbo. A Garrett GTP38R should help with the surge and stall issues I have been having recently. I did race the truck last weekend, 15.67 sec down the track I do believe is pretty good for this so called "stock truck"
Looking at a new turbo or a new bigger intercooler. Which one? I do pull a 4000lbs. boat and haul a 3000lbs. camper. Sometimes at the sametime. My EGT don't get that high, but haven't towed anything with the new transmission yet. It's not installed, still waiting for build day.
It's not a belt squeal. After the car has been driven for about 30min., it goes away. The serpentine has been replaced twice with in 6 mos. thinking it was the belt.
Anybody here have a Contour? My wife drives one and it just squeaks like a mother hefer. I beleive its the tensioner again, but not really sure. Anybody have an issue like this?
