I have a 79 bronco and im having a issue with the charging system. I was told that part of the charging system runs through the gauges, it that true? Because if so i dont have my gauges in and thats my issue

I have a 79 Bronco with a 4in lift on it right now. Im thinking about buying a 6in from a buddy, do i need new shocks or could i use the ones from the 4in?

I got a 75 f150 coil front im lifting. found a 9in lift for cheap im gonna put on it but i wanna get a lil more outa it. would it be fine if i dropped the coil spring towers like 2 or 3 inches as long as i have enough reinforcements?
