Have a 2001 F250 that has hubs which say "AUTO and Lock". Can anybody tell me how these work? When in auto it won't go into 4 wheel drive. Only when the hubs are in the Lock position.

We just replaced the 4.0ltr engine in our 2005 Ranger with a 4.0ltr from a 03 or 04 Automatic. Had to swap wiring harnesses on the engine and now don't have 4wd or backup light. The truck has electronic shift and nothing happens when you turn the switch to any of the settings(4 high or 4 low)...
I'm working on a mercury Sable...bla-bla-bla. I know -- my own fault!
Can anyone tell me if you have to jack the engine to install a water pump?
Thanks for any help as we don't have a repair manual. The car is a 1994.
Thanks again

We are in the process of removing the 5 speed tranny from an 04 Ranger and are having a problem getting thr threaded bolt out of the shifting lever to remove the lever. Anyone one know if this takes a special tool or do you just tap it out from one side or the other?
Probably will have more...
We Have a 2004 Ford Ranger V6 4x4. Can you tell me if there is any "easy Way" to bleed the clutch slave and master cylinder? We have tried bleeding this the old fashioned way and still can't get the clutch plate to release. Any help would be appreciated.
Is it true you have to remove the radiator to replce this belt? Also, is there a special tool to release the tension pulley to replace the alternator?

I have an engine light that won't seem to go away. I put a code detector on it and got this code, which says it's an "exhaust pressure sensor". Can anyone tell me about this sensor? Location and what it does?
Thanks, Bert
