is there any way to get in there with a shop vac? are there plugs on the side of the cowl behind the fenders? any tips? a tried a search but came up empty.
so I bought a semi basket case 78 f150 custom. it has dash vents and this weird looking ac (?) control panel in it. what is it and is it a factory installed piece? I haven't looked behind the dash yet. thanks guys!
bringing it home Thursday. it's a 78 rclb, it's in decent shape. has a bunch of bondo in the lower doors but the cab is solid. was a 300 / 3 on the tree, now has a 302/auto. going to make this my dd over the next few years.gave 1k for it.
so I'm looking at an 83 f100 that is pretty much in untouched original condition but shows it's age. it's a 302/aod rcsb. what's the difference between the f100 and the f150 in these years?
i've been looking for a 90-96 f150 for a while. think i'm going to buy a 300/auto powered truck. i plan to put a set of 3.55's in it if it does not already have them. will it tow a trailer/car combo of approx 5500lbs alright?
i had to sell my 78sc but i have the intake i bought for it still. edelbrock performer 400, good shape, no cracks,threads all good.the crap in the carb stud holes is dirt. it's a bit dirty. $110 plus shipping. thanks guys.
i'm not expecting great mileage but i was wondering, all things being equal, how much difference in mileage there is between the 2 wd trucks and 4 wd? seems to be alot more 4 wd trucks here.
