looks good. i got my 04 lightning dropped 5" in the front and 7" in the rear. looks killer til u drive it hahaha i gota swerve for acorns in the road lol
but if a lifter was collapsed or something that would make the noise all the time. i kno its time to tear the whole thing down and rebuild the whole thing. just gota finish putting the rear in the lightning so i can get the 79 in the garage cuz its getting cold! o yea and i will check for oil...
ok so heres the problem. i got a 79 f150 with a 351m in it. now keep in mind this truck was sittin for a long time when i got it. i had bent 2 off the pushrods awhile back and when i had the valve covers off to replace them, this thing had so much slugde and grime in there it was unbelievable...
its not your egr, i know that for a fact. you got a carboned up wastegate and stupid vvt turbo vanes are carboned up. it happens on some 6.0's with no miles and some it wont happen at all. ur egr being clogged and staying up may have helped lead to this problem. best bet it dont even touch it...
why would you put oil stop leak in ur motor!?? all that stuff does it gum up ur engine. and its bad enough to put it in a normal engine, let alone your powerstroke which gona go thru ur injecotrs bc ur injectors are opened by oil pressure and also ur turbo.. bad idea man. sorry i didnt see this...
only the 03 and early 04's have the icp sensor in the rear under the turbo which always leak onto the bell housing. late 04 and up is right in the front of the pass side valve cover
