Hey Mark.....pm me where I can send you some pictures, you were the first one who came to mind when I thought about parting with these. These were my dad's pride and joys when we had our highboy.
Yeah bud I'm still around.....doing the drag racing thing now! You're welcome to come pick thru all I've got left, if you don't mind crawling over and digging around in my old shed!! haha
You looking for a visor Ben? I've got a brand new Lund visor laying here left over from 2HI.And just out of curiousity......How much is a set of 16.5x9.75 8 lug Vector wheels going for now a days? Deciding if I want to part with my set or not!
Where are you located at? I've got a good used sliding window in my arsenal of parts that I'm selling off, seeing I sold my 77 and have no use for any of it anymore!
I believe i've got a good used 4.56 R&P that are reverse cut for a Dana 44 high pinion front......i'll have to check and make sure that's what they are.
I say ya'll shoot for Pigeon Forge and anywhere between Sept 8-16.....2HI and I will be in PF for the Shades of the Past car show!!:nana:If anyone drives thru town during that time.....just look for 2HI,he'll be parked out along the road for sale!:drop:
I heard that bud......I've been laid off from Freightliner for the last 2 months,I'm thinking about maybe starting up my own 73-79(and maybe more years) truck parts retail outlet.......I'm doing some home work on it now!!Get someone who's good at photo shop to take a stab at the color changes...
I understand that.....LOL I've got the shackle flip from Sky Mfg AND the 5.5" block with 6" springs, but I went with L&L ladder bars for the axle wrap issues.
Ronzi.....That's an easy fix....just get a zero rate block http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/Zero%20Rates.htmThat'll correct the set forward axle problem that comes from the shackle flip,I put one on the 89 Ranger project for my nephew.....worked like a charm!
Good decision with this poor economy of ours....I couldn't tell from the first pic that it even had the studs for the clips for the chrome. I know it's a matter of taste on the two tones, but it's a neccesity for me with the race track trim.I think the light green would go good with what ya...
Thanks bud.....The two tone is nice BUT the chrome gives a good hiding spot for moisture and the rust takes advantage of those places,I'd be torn over which way to go!! I had actually gave some thought to changing the dark green to a teal, but keeping the factory colors is what's keeping mine so...
