I'm just gonna do mine enough to make it look nice, etc...No use in putting another 20-30 hours into something that isn't noticeable...Other than by me...:headbang:
I know the feeling man...I know the feeling....And it ain't pretty...I vote, clean/degrease it all, give it a once over with a wire brush/drill and spray it down with some paint and call it done..As for the cab mounts, etc...Don't even worry about'em...How many times do people NORMALLY crawl...
Gave mine a MUCH needed cleaning on the interior...Wiped down the windows...Only thing I didn't fully do, was clean the mat...That'll come later...I simply vaccumed it off today...:(
Back on track...I filled my truck up tonight...$3.47 per gallon for good ol' 87 octane...10.92 gallons and $38 dollars later....I averaged my mpg out to be 16.20Not gonna complain....Considering my leaky tank and heavy foot...
I love mine...Thanks CharlieHahaha....I'm about $3,000 into this truck...Yes....Words, even most grown men won't say to another...But at least the truck won't leave me...:wasntme:
I bought a entire setup off a 1989 F-150....$50 for front/rear differentials..Had the front sway bar, and the quad shock towers...Sadly, I didn't notice that til the truck was crushed...Anywho, I have been refurbing the front TTB to slide in under the front of Michelle...More support, etc...
1992 F-150 Custom XL 300/M5OD/3.08
Since I've had the truck, this is what I've done to it-
-Replaced the Clutch, Pressure Plate, Flywheel, & Slave Cylinder
-Replaced the Hydraulic Clutch Master Cylinder
-Replaced the Spark Plugs, Wires, Distributor Cap & Rotary Button
-Modified the Intake...
