  1. Power Door Lock Problems

Well if they all went out at different times like you said then it's almost always the actuators. Replace them all the time. Great money maker
  2. Squeaking noise coming from wheel

Make sure your backing plate is not bent and rubbing on the rotor. If so just bend it back, see this all the time
  3. 6.0 hotstart issues

To close off the IPR just put power and ground to it and then pull out the ICP and put air to the system. Find the leak either under the valve covers or under the H.P cover. If you have no leaks check the IPR. If the screen is full of metal replace the IPR and the high pressure oil pump. If the...
  4. checking cyl head flatness

No milling a 6.0 head does not change compression ratio, There is no combustion camber like a gasoline engine. The head is already flat so milling it does not change the combustion ratio but it does make your valve to piston clearance closer. Ford does not recommend milling any of there diesel...
  5. How Many 6.0L Motors over 100,000 miles????

Well you will need headgaskets real soon. Most don't make it to 100,000 miles before they blow. Kind of suprised you haven't had a ICP sensor leak yet. Sell it while it still runs is my advice. I work on them everyday so I know what I'm talking about. Otherwise put four or five thousand a side...

  7. Stuck In Regen

It's impossible to be stuck in regen. The PCM will not aloow that to happen. But gutting the DPF will cause it to regen more often.
  8. Will I be disappointed?

The 6.4 is a great engine with only minor problems. I am a senior master tech and have been diesel certified for over twenty years. I've been working at Ford dealerships before the 6.9 came out. The 6.9 had headgaskets, injectors, injector pump problems and fuel leaks from all over the place...
  9. 6.4 trouble

The fuel system has it's own cooling system so you will be having a recheck. Everyone I have had so far needed the cooler bleeding. You have to remove the cooler for the fuel system which is the one on the LF and turn it upside down and wait for all the air to come out at the little coolant...
  10. valve covers on 6.4s

Drivers side is a piece of cake. I can have it off in fifteen minutes. Everything on this truck is quite simple. I actually think it's easier than the 6.0
  11. 6.4 diagnosis

It's impossible for it to be in constant regen. The PCM will not allow it to stay in regen. If it doesn't see the pressure change that it is looking for it will stop regen and set a code.
