    Just noticed after I reinstalled my carb. I suppose I should rev the engine up to see if the pressure comes up!

    I noticed that when my 460 is idling the see-through fuel filter does not stay full. It will go close to empty and then refill. Also the fuel pressure goes form 6psi to 3-4 psi after the engine is warm, is this normal?

    And ya at the beginning of my post I should have said LTD, not crown vic. A lot of the parts stores don't recognize the older 460, just the 429.

    Thanks for the info guy, my block is D1ve 6015A with DOVE heads and it says 460 on the block. I ordered the pilot bushing for a 429 and should be here today from Napa. They have the old one to compare when it comes in.
