  1. Need help Lowering my F150

    LOL pwned.
  2. Ball Joints - Difficulty?

One of my tires cupped out badly and it was because of bad alignment due to worn ball joints. I replaced the uppers with the Camburg Uni-ball joints, and now the ride is much smoother and it has reduced bump steer from the larger tires. If you have 33"+ tires on a suspension lift I highly...
  3. Removing Cats

Had the truck on the dyno, A/F ratios were quite lean on the OEM program, especially above ~3k RPM.I understand that. I am a member on other much larger and faster moving forums, so I know how they work and yes they are a great source of information. Sorry to have upset you all, my post count...
  4. Removing Cats

While I have not done the modification myself, I watched my friend do it and he had no problems for years as I stated. I was stating as far as my knowlege and personal experience goes and clearly others here have experience too. And yes I do know CA inspectors who could pass me (and Polarbear...
  5. Removing Cats

Ah, that makes sense. And yes I think the whole CARB certification thing is a silly waste of time and money.Well maybe you can answer this question then: I know they dont check for this in CA, but I do run a custom dyno tune on my computer. This is to help correct the A/F ratios since the...
  6. Removing Cats

Dude my truck has all 4 cats from the factory, untouched. The only thing modified is the muffler and intake, which are both CARB certified. It would pass with flying colors.
  7. Removing Cats

My truck is smog legal. My friend's has years and many miles without rear cats. Just speaking personal experience here man, not trying to pretend I know every little thing about the truck. Sure, there may be little things here and there but I have never encountered someone who's had a problem...
  8. Removing Cats

Well seeing as you have never done it in person, I dont see how you are so sure the computer will know. Do you even have an 04-05 F150?! If yes, go crawl underneath it and look at the location of the O2 sensors. It will not pass CA smog tests without rear cats, but those are only required every...
  9. Removing Cats

After 4 years and the better part of 80k miles without the rear cats on my friend's 2004, I can absolutely guarantee you the computer on the 04-05 f150 will not know. On the 06 and up trucks it will since they switched to 2 cats instead of the 4 cats system.
  10. Removing Cats

There is a lot of miss-information in this thread. The 2004 F150 has 4 cats 2 on each side, with the O2 sensors between the front and rear cats. You can cut the back 2 cats off and the computer will never know. I know multiple people who have done this mod, and I've been considering it as well...
  11. speaker size

Ford says 5x7 speakers all around...I said screw that, I want 7" midwoofers. :D
  12. Fuel Injector problem?

You have a 2005 F150 5.4? You are going to want to get that checked out immediately. In 2005 Ford tried to save a few bucks by switching suppliers for the injectors, and now their 2005 5.4 3Vs are notorious for having injector failures all over the place. Many have had new engines on Ford's...
  13. $250 Rotors?!

You should see how much the rear axle adds.
  14. $250 Rotors?!

Line them up? How about strap them up? Anytime, anyplace. Just let me know, we'll see whos boss. :D
