  1. September 2014 Truck Of The Month

Thanks for the kind words guys, I know I don't post here very often but thanks for letting my truck on the front page. It's definitely been a long time coming (and so far still to go) but all the work is starting to pay off. Here's my extremely long winded build thread...
  2. Codes 211 & 335

I too have the 211 code (which by itself does not throw the CEL) along with very intermittent stumbling/stalling and here's the fix-I haven't fixed it yet but when it stalls and won't restart I jiggle that bundle of wires and it'll fire up every time.It will throw a 211 code LONG before it...
  3. Most common engine

I'm having a debate with my buddy about which engine was more common in the 97-03 trucks (particularly the 97s), the 5.4 or the 4.6. I found an autoparts website that had the percent's of each engine in each year but I can't find it anymore. Tried searching...no luck. Does anyone know the...
  4. Pops and cracks in front end

Nope! that's the beauty of having 2 cars. I'm driving the integra till I put the stereo back in the bronco. Then I'll tack it up and go for a drive.
  5. Pops and cracks in front end

Yeah chris, this one's a lot better than the UC one, I'll see if I can post up a pic of that loose rivet I found, It was oblately obvious looking at it but I had been searching for the cause of that clunk forever so maybe it's not quite that obvious.I think I'll lay some really small tack...
  6. Electric fan Vs. Mechanical fan (split from Chris' e-fan thread)

Wrong. There are losses everywhere you go, the losses with the e-fan are significantly less than with a clutch fan, especially at cruising speeds. That explains the mileage increase.Very wrong. The fan clutch is not at all like a car's clutch, is is a fluid coupling sort of like a torque...
  7. Fog Lights

EDIT: oops, it's after the fact I guess...oh well.I say round!Don't worry Chris I'll disagree!
  8. F-250 computer location?

I'm trying to find the security computer inside a 2006 F250, I need to get the keyless entry code off of it. In my bronco there's a nice black box plainly marked under the dash, I've tried looking there, pass kick panel, under the steering wheel, behind glove box, any one have any idea where...
  9. Updates

    Looks real niceYelloThumbUp
  10. Dead Cylinder

did you think about trying Restore?
  11. Spare Tire

the added weight will bend body parts over time...then again I've seen plenty of friends do it with 35s.Actually I wonder what an alum wheel'd 33 weighs compared to a steel wheel'd 31? Probably about the same weight.
  12. Here's Some Pictures

I'm not sure what the texas market has to offer but in CA I doubt that would get 5K. It's a super clean truck don't get me wrong but it's still a bronco. They get bad mileage, they can't tow much, you can't pile as much stuff in the back as a pick-up, the bronco's around here-even the cherry...
  13. Waxing The Arm Killer

That looks great, is that 2-toned pic of the hood half done?
