    1973 f-100?

Body lifts are HIDEOUS!!! My '73 F-100 4x4 had a nasty 2" body lift on it when I bought it. There was actually no reason what-so-ever for the DPO to even bother because he had 33's. The 4x4's clear 33" tires with no lift. Depending on how high you want to go you could get the appropriate...

GAHHH! I need a radiator and fan shroud!

I ended up ordering one of the all-metal radiators from O'Reilly. It has a lifetime warranty and figured it would be easier to return if needed since I wouldn't' have to worry about shipping it.

My truck should have been free!

Well, the clutch fork was broken and to re-attach it to the bell housing I had to pull the tranny. I just thought it would be wise to go ahead and replace what the things I had access to as not to have to pull the tranny a second time.

My truck should have been free!

Well, I ended up having to replace the clutch fork, pivot arm, and the whole clutch kit. This seems never-ending! I also had to order a new radiator and fan shroud. I need a second job now

GAHHH! I need a radiator and fan shroud!

I don't see listed here 4x4 for the '73 w/360. Are they the same as the 2wd?

GAHHH! I need a radiator and fan shroud!

My radiator is leaking in a few different places. I can see signs of previous repairs so I think I'll just replace it. It never had a fan shroud since I've owned it. I've been looking at the NPD and LMC catalogs but all the radiator/shroud numbers are a mystery to me. Can anyone help with what I...

    Deal or Not

My truck should have been free!

It would have been much easier on the DPO and me if he had just put a pair of add-a-leafs and a pair of coils to get a 2" lift.

Well, here it is after the body lift was removed.

No Wonder...(You must see this to believe this...)

It makes one wonder, with those exorbitant registration fees, why Californica is going broke.

My truck should have been free!

Here's the carnage from the DPO messing with the clutch stuff just to fit the stupid 2" home-made body lift.

I can add the clutch fork pivot to the list. We got the new clutch and brake pedal assembly installed this evening and the clutch wouldn't adjust properly. We found the two bolts that go though the clutch fork pivot were sheared off.

My truck should have been free!

It's getting close to drivable now. I still need to install the clutch pedal and rod and after that it should be safe to take on the road. The manual steering box is on it's last leg but it'll get me down the road. I have a power steering setup off a '79 F-150 I'm going to try to install...
