    This truck has a 49 to53 merk flat head in it and 4 onthefloor. No synchmesh. Wondering if there was a sychro kit or alternate tranny that would drop in with no cutting. any ideas?

    New hereI bought a 1940 3/4 ton flat bed truck. It is stock except for F100 rear end & 49to 53 flathead mercury engine. 4 speed floor shift. Everything works . registered . I need to sell it. Any ideas?
