I was thinking around $1000 so it seems I'm in the ball park. If it wasn't a scs I would pay around $800. Ive put it on craigslist but all I've got is scammers. It is so frustrating.:headbang: Austin send me a message maybe it'll work out.
Thanks so much for the input.

ok Ive got sad news. I have to sell my truck. I just dont have the time or money for working on it any more. The question I have is what should i ask for it. It is a 1973 It is 99% original. it has some rust on the bed that has gone through.
ok heres what im coming to think now. take the original bed off and build a frame for it and use it as a trailer. then build a flat bed for the truck keeping the original axle set up. that leaves me with the option of putting the bed back on latter if i would like.
Thanks for all of ya'lls...

sorry i was out of pocket for a couple of days. I'll try and get some pic of my truck and rust spots. Im new to the ford thing. I usually play with 68-72 gm trucks but my granddad had one of these so you know the rest.
BKW is that part # for a factory replacement part? If so thats awsome!

I have a 1973 super camper with some substantial rust on the bed side. I want to replace the bedside {drivers side} but Im unsure if the dimension are the same as a 1/2 ton long bed. I don't want to buy a new one only to find out that its not the same. any help would be helpful
Thanks
