never would have thought of a cam from an RV. wat is the difference between speed density and mass air flow EFI? i know wat a mass airflow sensor is but then im lost.
Thinking of doing a mild cam swap to a 92' bronco with a 5.0 my first question is can i just by a cam and lifter kit and install it with out having to change anything else such as pushrods springs ect. i will do that but down the road its a slow process. which leads me to my next question i...

it turns over but wont start. feathering the gas pedal almost makes it crank but not always. on an EFI the pedal should not make a difference like a carbed motor right?
Have A F350 1989 with a 460. sometimes it cranks sometimes it wont. smells like its flooding out. my fuel pump runs too long when it doesnt crank. its a new pump. if i hold the gas pedal down sometimes it starts. almost like it isnt getting enough air. i think the fuel regulator may be sticking...
gonna replace the water pump tomorrow. while im at it i wanna know about adjusting the cam timing. replaced the gears and chain not to long ago and the gear is adjustable in 2* intervals advanced or retarded up to 4* eiter way. wat difference would it make either way and how much would be good...

had a loose wire on the coil. it was the +battery wire. it started up now wat i wanna know is would that effect my injectors or did it just happen to crank? my problem is not constant it was intermittent. so am i gonna get stranded at walmart or could this be my solution? any ideas?

Just cheap wires, cap, and button from orilleys but used bosch plugs. whats the difference between the pre emission timing gear and the stock one and is a '71 to '74 a direct match
Changed timing gears and chain about 1500 miles ago when water pump went out has new distributor cap and roter button new plugs and wires new MSD coil just dont seem to have power i believe it should. any idea on horsepowerr numbers for the motor.
its a 1989 F350 with a 460 has 153,000 miles on it adjusted the timing to about 13.5 btdc runs better but anymore and it falls back off thinking theres a lot of tolerance slack due to wear and tear
Is there any thing i can try to get a few more ponies such as advancing the timing a degree or two. looking for free horsepower any suggestions?smiliepopcorn
my dads got a '01 powerstroke and his injector went out and the truck barely ran. we were told one down it runs really rough two down it wont though. there not to bad to replace but make sure you clean all the oil out of the cylinder before you crank it.
