Soooo, moving development of a vehicle from the U.S. to another country will create more jobs here, right? I dont see how GM is helping the horrible economy in any way

Mounted my new Peterson turn signal switch on my 62 F250. Starting to wire it in. Gonna be cool to have hazards on an old truck that was not factory stock
For multi-battery systems above 2, all batteries were replaced if a few went bad. I know this from being a tank mechanic on the M1A1's when i was in the military. They have 6 12V batteries, series-parallel, to make a very stout 24V system. I know thats different from trucking companies. I would...
Today I fixed my charging system for my 62 F250. Someone put in a 69 390 FE and when i recently acquired the vehicle, found the alternator wasnt puttin out. Disassembled the Wells Voltage Regulator, (newer remanufactured circuit board regulators), and found a burned out resistor that channels...

I'm considering a Throttle Body Injection conversion to ditch the carburetion since I plan to do some serious mountain wheeling later on. My 62 F250 4X4 has a 390 FE. What would be a good system to go with? or would anyone recommend another setup instead? I want to keep the 390 in there. Thanks

That tab mounted on the engine is your timing pointer. When you hook up a timing light properly and watch the harmonic balancer on the crankshaft, you'll see the timing marks and can determine how much advance should be set for your engine. You can adjust this by loosening your distributor...
I just bought a 1962 F250 4X4 in great shape. Has a 390FE, T-18 w/granny low, and the divorced transfer case. I'm looking for an older 5 spd heavy duty transmission to replace the 4 spd thats in the truck. Does anyone know of a particular transmission I can bolt up to the 390 and get some...
