smiliecrybaby racing is done for this year, now I have a lot of homework to do. If anybody sees a rollcage kit available for Ford trucks please let me know, otherwise it looks like it's custom time. Randy
Well, I broke it again, but I was able to drive it home thanks to my detroit locker. I'm pretty sure I broke an axle the way the left rear wheel was wobbling. I did run 11.14 the run before. I wanted an 11.0 and I just came down a little to quick on the throttle. Randy.:headbang:
Hey guys, does anybody know a source for a roll cage for a generation 6 f100? Mine is a 1975. I would like to keep the truck as stealth as possible, Randy.
Hey Guys,I have a suggestion...If you plan on building a stroker motor be sure and use the ribbed C-6 case. Look what happened to my smooth case with my 557.
Well guys,I just got towed home from 75&80 dragway. My first pass was 11.32 @ 116.5 mph with the rear jumping off the ground leaving the line. I let a little air out the tires and adjusted the timing and came back to make run 2. I did a good burn out and came to the line. When I left the line...
My 557 is running and has stupid power! The truck stops fine without a powerbooster, but the pedal is hard. Hope to go to the dragstrip this weekend.Randy smiliegitrdone
Hi guys,I have a problem, I'm installing my 557 with tall valve covers,{which I need to clear my stud girdle} in my 1975 f100 and the valve covers won't clear the brake booster.Has anybody ran into this problem? I don't need power brakes, but what master cyl. etc. will I need? Thanks, Randy.
