Good info.. thanks. I like Summit, I have always had good luck with car stuff. Havent hit them up to much for SD stuff.. But I will now. If I can find it I think I am going to try and split my 4" into two 3's (thats the stock stuff right???) and then put tips out the back. I woudl prefer...
You need to make sure your angle from the transfer case to the drive line is within 5 degrees of the angle from rear end to drive line. Drive line should be straight. That could be your problem. I lift everything I buy. GO BIG OR GO HOME.....
I agree. You can put 05-07 headlights in it pretty easily. When I did mine though all the light bulbs and plugs are different. You have to go cut them off of that same years and splice them on. Its really nice if you can get a pair of jumper cables from your truck to the one your removing...
I am getting ready to do a simulated dual exhaust on my 02 7.3 PSD. I am probably going to Y pipe it just past the rear axle and I haven't decided if I am going to stick with the 4" all the way out the back or not. Anyone done this? Found a good place to get 45 degree angles and y-pipes?

Yep.. just a typical diesel.. You have to think about how close tolerance these engines are and the fact that they need to grow to operating temp and size. I try to let mine idle for a few minutes always.
Whats the outside temp? Are you just getting in and starting to go? Keeping her plugged in? Mine is a little cold blooded but nothing like that. Does the engine seem like its working and the transmission is not or vise-versa? They have lock up converters in these trucks. Possible its not...
Mine does that if I don't keep it plugged in. I also run my predator scan and got a glow plug code. I think its a combination on mine of bad glow plugs and not keeping my baby warm at night. This morning it was 40 here and it was just fine. yesterday I didn't plug it in and it got to 30 and...
Mine is a little rough until I get the gears. But I can still out tow a 1/2 ton. This was a little rough.. on me and the trailer.. did you know a SD on 35's wont fit through the fender wells on a car trailer? (at least on mine).. we had to run them over and then take a jack and a sledge...
I like the programmers. I can turn it to 40 /60 / 80 / 100 (I think) and I can run codes and clear them as well. I put mine on the big setting once and couldn't tell enough difference to use it over the "TOW". But when I go to the dunes I will be using that BIG DADDY. I have a predator. But...
