This guy's description in the auction is pretty craptacular.

Can anyone decode this sticker? Is there a way to tell what it was programmed for? I'm looking to convert my speed density 351w over to Mass Air Flow and I need to make sure I'm getting a 1995-1996 ECU that works with a 351w and E4OD.

on that ECU it was the J0G1 code.. typically 3 or 4 digits and letters... its the strategy code for that ECU...

notice the 93-95 lightning had 5 strategy codes.. only 1 was MAF i guess..

cant remember which one is the one everyone wants as far as SD goes..

AKC0 5.8 93-95 Lightning MAF / E4OD / F8TF-12A650-NA
C3P1 5.8 93-95 Lightning SD-Bank / E4OD / F3TF-12A650-AB
C3P2 5.8 93-95 Lightning SD-Bank / E4OD / F3TF-12A650-AC
C3P3 5.8 93-95 Lightning SD-Bank / E4OD / F3TF-12A650-AD
ICY1 5.8 93-95 Lightning SD-Bank / E4OD / F5TF-12A650-XB

Basically I'm taking these codes and plugging them into Ebay to see where I can get the cheapest hit.

Ideally, I think I would want an OBD v1 MAF 5.8L E4OD.

pretty much is exactly what you need.

you could use a 5.0 MAF ecu as long as it had a E4OD

This looks like a huge PITA. I just want a fresh, nice running engine. I think I'll take Speed Density as far as it will go. I can't find one of those computers anywhere on the net.
