How come we keep talking about the 4R70W/AODE when he says he has an E4OD? They are completely different transmissions. If the pan is almost a square its a 4R70W/AODE/AOD, if it is a rectangle with a cornoer cut out its an E4OD/4R100. I suggest that you check the MLP/TR sensor on the drivers...
I have a better one that I'll post when I find it. it contains muddy field wheelin, no attachment points for winches and an 8 wheeled farm tractor to the rescue! you should never go wheelin on a wim and unprepared. You should also never listen to the Wife while wheelin and just go by instinct.
actually simpler than that..............
1. take a break from a great morning of muddin'.
2. you and a friend decide that one more spin in that big mud hole is in order.
3. follow said friend in and around mud hole.
4. loose track of where EXCACTLY friend is goin and make a wrong turn
5. high...
Ernie used to work at a Ford dealership so hes OK in my book just confused on his manufacturers!!!smiliegitrdoneWe called it CON-Star. cuz most people were CON'd into it and wanted later to get rid of it when the freebie ran out! smilietease
I actually had a customer come in complaining that their car was running bad. I took it for a test drive and it ran like ... well I noticed right off they had a picture in front of the check engine light. when I moved the pic the light was flashing codes. I did the diag and fixed the trouble...
does it act the same way on both tanks? I am with the other guys wondering about bleed off and suspecting the check valve in one tank or the other. there was a recall for dual tanks a few years back, did you have it done?
I just have to ask, "how many of you still have the blinking blue 12:00 on your vcr? LMAOSorry when I read the headline that was the first thing that came to mind and I lost it.
94 F150 4X4 with 160000 and original drivetrain with no overhauls. The only major things I have done is a 4" lift and regeared the front and rear diffs
Well if you've ever worked on a conversion van that had never had the oil changed in 21k miles.............and the customer whines that no one ever told them that they needed to do that..................and if the engine is damaged will that be covered under warranty.....................OMG some...
Headers wont help much with the restrictive exhaust behind it. Do you have emissions testing in your area? If not do what I did and cut that second inline cat off, rot out the insides of the other one, get an exhaust pipe adapter from 3" to 3.5" and get 3.5" custom pipe and a flowmaster...
nawh your just light in the loafers not your truck! LMAOanyway the truck was just ordered that way. the 302/E4OD was a rare package as most E4OD's were ordered with the 5.8 and larger engines. you can also find it behind the 4.9 but of course it had loads of torque.
I worked at Kendall Ford in Eugene OR for 11 years and left there a Ford Master Technician (2002) and ASE certified. My experience is mainly in Mustangs/Capris (especially the German version) but I have some good knowledge of all Ford/Lincoln/Mercury's from 91-02 and I still have lots of...
When I was a Ford Tech, the Regional dude told us the the speedo is acturate with in + or - 10%. I argued that "so when I get a ticket for being 10% over can you come with me to the court and explain that fact and the fact that the "certified" police speedos may not be "certified" for anything...
The 4R70W is the "new version of the AODE which replaced the AOD which replaced the C-4 I believe. The E4OD replaced the C-6(which was still available until 96 in the F series) and became the 4R100 which is now a something else in the 06- Super Duties. The C series transmissions were three...
