New shifter will be here friday... so excited

Well while i wait for the new shifter i figured i tackle some small things. I cleaned up the washer bag and cap which both were super gross! The blue was black.

Yeah it does big time...Oh well. Still waiting to hear from b €m so i can send this thing back

Ran into a hiccup... carpet is installed, driveshaft is in but shifter is going back to b&m. Was moving along with the install and well the t bar that holds the indicator and reverse/neutral safety switch is installed backwards so it will have to go back and be warranty out

I have a few more pieces to lay down which should happen tomorrow along with letting the carpet lay out in the sun so it can take shape to go into the truck.

Had it shorten, new slip yoke, new joints, rebalance and cleaned it up

I had to cut to fit. The kit is from fatmat. Its their floot liner kit. Comes in a roll. Couldve done normal sound deadner but figured this was a better option since i ordered carpet without the rubber backing.

Not much work but alittle more done... started the floor liner. Would say i got about 40% of it done

Thanks....I am hoping the c6 allows for some nice cruising with the six it is mated to. So ready to take it out on a weekend and just get lost in driving

That is where i am at now... i have carpet on order from stock interiors which once that gets in i will lay down some Fatmat and then the carpet so i can finish the install on the shifter. Also getting quotes for the drive shaft so that should be getting done in the next few months

So purchased this truck off ebay and it was in pretty decent shape. Havent done much to it but swap the 3 speed out for a c6 auto (still in the process).... anyway on with pics lol
