Put the old cab on the new chassis, that way you have much more than a new engine in an old truck. Brakes, suspension, frame strength, etc.Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Alright guys, relax. This is an overreaction on both sidesI havent experienced that problem, but hopefully someone here has, and will be able to chime in.Welcome to the forum!
It was a happy birthday, thanks guys! We are always getting snow, and Doug, it is finally getting above zero these last couple days, finally! A little break from the cold is nice.
I have been so swamped, I almost forgot what the internet was... Not a bad thing, lol.I quit my job and have taken up ranching with my Dad full time. Its great being around home every day and not having to leave for work, only seeing the family on weekends, maybe...
Yeah, this thing has been collecting dust for far too long.It was the first truck, first vehicle even, that I ever drove, sitting on my Dads lap before my feet came close to reaching the pedals. He gave it to me in high school, and I started the tear down, getting it prepped for paint. Then...
He is going to do a custom setup. The guy is an electrical genius, has been doing automotive electrical for at least 30+ years. He has sorted out many electrical gremlins on our farm stuff before, haha.

Another engine shot, and side shot. Could not get a pic from farther out, my dads boat is parked next to it. The tires are 255/85R16. Measured out to 33.5x10 when mounted up.
I was hoping to brainstorm with you guys and see if we can come up with a solution for extending fuel capacity.I am hoping that someone has some knowledge, possibly regarding an F150 or something of similar year and style that had a fuel tank in the back, where the expedition carries its spare...
Its getting ready to go back in. Had one of those custom built, small size/high torque starters built up for it. Should hopefully never have starter problems again.
I have a custom clutch being built for it. Shoukd be very light and easy to actuate, while still having a lot of holding power. I have had multiple surgeries on my knees, so i need all the clutch help i can get.Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
I am looking at swapping it for a new style gear reduction starter. Does anybody know if starter mounting for the 300 is the same as 351M, 460 etc? Manual transmission.Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
