The truck went to a local dealer, they replaced the pedal assm again, thought the one I put on was bad, turns out the computer is burning up one of the resistors in the pedal. Getting a new computer. I really appreciate the help I am able to get on the site, with limited tools for diognostics...

Let sit for 30 min. pedal inop again.

Two codes present. P2139, P2140. Pedal did not work, cleared codes, works fine. Do you need to clear the codes for the system to work correctly?

No smoke at all, it acts like the pedal is not hooked up. I am waiting for a code reader, I should have today a.m. I will post codes if they are there.

Still acting up, repeat the adove procedure, and works again???

We unplugged the EGR valve, started it up, no throttle, plugged it back in while at idle, shut the key off, restarted it works fine. Tips on cleaning the EGR or replace, quite a bit of carbon build up.

03 6.0 no throttle, did not have check engine light, installed new TPS, pedal assm. worked once, then nothing. Waited 3 miniutes, had throttle for 10 seconds, gone again. Called Ford, no recalls on this unit. Have check engine light now. I dont know what codes at this time.

01 5.4 gas no heat at idle, upper hose hot, lower hose cold, does have the oil cooler in the lower hose. Replaced t-stat and water pump. Both heater hoses get hot????

After the truck sits, the brake pedal has a very long travel, until pumped up. Already replaced hydro booster and pump. Any Ideas? Bled system, no leaks found either. Diesel engine, dually rears

2002 F-250 not locking in on auto. Already replaced vacuum actuator and dash switch. ???????
