I have found wiring diagrams for 1972 and 1974 F-100 thru F-350. But nothing for 1973. Does anyone have a source? Or does anyone know how much changed in 1973? My guess is not too much. My truck is a 1973, but built in late 1972 according to my VIN ID label.

The oil pan that is on my 360 engine, has the tube for the dip stick coming up from the side of the oil pan. Where as on some parts diagrams I've seen, it seems to be intergrated with the engine block. The truck was assembled in September, 1972.Is mine an earlier version?Jeff

Under the hood, on the driver's side, there's a large area and a square metal strap for storing something. What was that originally for? A toolbox? I think behind that, is a spot for a bottle jack. Can anyone enlighten me? I can't find much online.Thanks, Jeff
