I've done a bunch of work over the last few weeks. I'll try to list it all out.New SS Brake Lines, New brake hoses, New Master Cylinder, New rear wheel cylinders, New calipers, New rear drums & brake shoes & hardware, New drilled and slotted rotors & pads.
New Front driveshaft U-Joints, New...
'94 would have batch fire EFI, so if it was a wiring problem causing a rich fuel condition, you would see it on 4 cylinders. Same if it was a lean condition. An intake leak could also cause a lean condition on one cylinder. With it being #4 cyl, that is a possibility. Really need to see if it is...
My 3 year old granddaughter LOVES my Bronco and asks where it is if I'm not driving it. She sits up high in her seat and can see out the front and sides. She is always asking to go for a ride in it.
Don't be afraid to crawl under the truck when you are looking at it. Tailgate is the most time...
I have yet to really test the Cepek tires but like them so far. They do make some road noise but could be worth it when the time comes. They seem to be wearing very well so far.
Leveled the front end and installed Bilsteins. 33's now fit without rubbing. Also tinted the windowsOut on a historic section of the Lincoln Hiway west of Omaha, NE
I'm very interested in your findings as I'm looking for LT headers for my '96. My '91 had JBA shorty headers that I really liked. Looking at the longer tubes to gain more torque in the low and mid range.
Thanks guys! The back section can come off but I don't think that it ever has. This one came from Washington state. I'm the third owner of it. I have the original window sticker and it listed for over $32,000. Has just about every option except the turn signals in the mirrors. The original owner...
Wildpeaks were worth about 55 K miles. They are designed with a little deeper tread in the center. I thought they worked pretty good most of the time. I wanted something a little more aggressive.
Had a set of Falken Wildpeaks and liked them until the tread was about worn-out. They got a little worrysome on wet streets at that time. Put a set of Dick Cepek Extreme Country on. Traction is great but are noisy. Still planning on moving them to the Bronco.
I don't know what they are called but you can't get them separately from the tailgate center panel. I salvaged some for mine from a damaged one at the U-Pull-It.
Removes the chance of the air pump failing and burning up the belt. It also might remove the chance of an exhaust leak. Mine was leaking exhaust from the tube that ran between the back of the heads. Just required a different belt and a couple of bolts to plug off the ports on the back of the heads.
Yours is a few years newer than mine but did it just all of a sudden not want to start or has this been working up to this not starting by being hard to start? The grounding issue is a very good start. When you say that you have spark, is that at the coil wire or at the spark plug? Was the CEL...

They throw quite a bit of time and money at this one. There are dyno...
A couple of degrees added to the base timing will make a difference. Mine likes about 2 ~ 3 degrees advances from the spec. It helps the off idle response and midrange. As you get close to the limit, the next tank of fuel might not be as good and pinging may start.
I haven't tried the stage 8 header bolts but I installed the ARP header studs! It has been ove a year now with them and the same header gaskets. No leaks and have only had to re-tighten twice since installed. Less chance of breaking a bolt off in the head.
Above link is broken so here is the information.
Finishing up my gear ratio change and have a couple of items left over that I can't use.
Dana 44 Trac-Loc 3.92 and up carrier assembly: Disassembled to clean and inspect. clutches look almost new, includes new bearings, shims and ring gear bolts...
Dana 44 Warn Premium Lock-Outs: These were the ones that I had been running. Bought a new set because one of the clutch assemblies fell apart. One side is complete and usable. Other side could be used for parts.
