This is what was said;IT HAS PS.PB. BUT NO TILT OR CRUISE. IT'S BEEN ABOUT 7-8 YEARS SINCE THE BODY WAS DONE SO IT HAS A COUPLE OF SMALL BUBBLES ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DOORS AND A RUST PATCH (APPROX. 3''X3'') ABOVE THE WINDSHIELD THAT WILL NEED ATTENTION SOON,REAR FENDERS ARE FIBERGLASS AND...
I'm thinking of buying a '80 Flareside with a 351w. I had the same truck with a 302, but just canm't get a hold of the new owner to buy it back. So, the potential new one has a carbed 351 Windsor. What's your thoughts of this engine? What's the difference, if any, besides being built in a...
Cliff, had one for sale. I think his is gray? I bought one for my '79 from LMC truck. It came with an adhesive. Make sure to change youur dash speaker before, if it needs to.Your door panels, did you find new ones, or filled in the holes on the old ones?Impressive work.Tyl
Sorry, mate, I deleted that pic long ago. Two yrs ago. Found it. Here it is;Ugly, is it? I'm glad to know the truck has been crushed long ago, unless tucked away in a collector's garage.Tyl
I bought an '80 Flareside with the same switch door locks. At first, I thought they were power locks, but are just a rare factory feature, manual door locks for this style of truck. The passenger's lock was fine, just a bit dirty. The driver's side was broken off and gone. TThe only way to lock...
I wonder if Mike, from Mike's truck salvage would help you. Write down this name in the search engines and you'll get it. I think he's in South Carolina?Tyl
No sir, no silicone or armor all for me.I did vaccuum the downstairs last night and have the headliner propped against the wall beside my room entrance, so as piglet's famous words, 'surewhynot'. Unfortunnately, the nozzle I had would take me a day or so. It did get the large dust balls...
Bought a headliner for my truck, from a salvaged truck. It is dusty and has a small tear in it. What's the best way to remove the dust from the headliner? and repair this tear?Tyl
I beleive the lower portion of your cab is painted mauve? Confirmation, Chris?Happy 15. Do hope you get a kiss from one of those girls, you been trying to impress that Oliver, told us about.Meaning one more yr to go to get your licensing. I usually agree with Chris, about Chev. truck drivers...
Happy Birthday, mate. As you blow out your candles, I do hope that wish will be granted. May take some time but patience is a virtue. And do hold regards for me as you enjoy your cake.Tyl
I had a '64 with the same problem. A junkyard dog with no keys. You must use a standard screwdriver as a key, turn the cylinder to bthe left and note the small pin hole in the cylinder face. Use a long nail to fit in and the cxylinder will pull out.Tyl
Nothing, Oliver. Send me your addy. It belonged to one good man (yes?), and it'll belong to another good man.I only need your mailing addy to send it to you.Tyl
It is a great expensive watch. I changed and replaced many of its parts. This timed the clasp won't stay locked from wear, meaning a new bracelette would be needed. Works grand otherwise. I could order and buy a new calendar bracelette for it. However have a new watch right now. No, not a fancy...
I bought new this watch new and wore it for yrs. It is a watch produced by M.Z. Berger & Co. Inc. for Ford. It has the Ford logo and this generation of crew-cab F150 in the background. The watch and bracelettes is all stainless steel. The bracelette is a calendar type with a locking clasp...
Our family was traced back to an old farmland in Dartmougth, NS. I returned to that farm in '94. Ruth was still alive then, she died a couple yrs afterwards, but do recall her '56 Ford on the farm.Tyl
Wow, 11,000 posts, all in two year's time? All I can think of is Jackie Tang's response to Chris Tucker; "No, aint nobody can understand a thing from your mouth."Tyl
Dennis, it is an 1980 Ford F100 Ranger XLT Flaresider. Blue on blue. Blueberry for now. Brittany, calls it blue b@#$%. She got soo fustrated, the truck did not want to allow her to lock the door shut.Britz is the beneficiary of this truck, when I go. I would wish to build her a good solid...
Oh dog gone it, Carl. I'd call you, but do not have yopur number. I can share the tear with you here. I know you've told us before that you and your dad were never close.Dad and I weren't close either. He'd be doing other things beyond my interests. My trucks were something that brought us...
A while ago, when I was looking for my truck, an '80 Flaresider, a fellow ncalled me telling me he had what I was looking for. This is what he had;Story was, the beige part is and chassis is an '80 Flareside. He got into a wreck with it and grafted the front fenders, bumper, hood...
