Number 1---Truck does not have A/C....we are in New Hampshire...northern part. Our winters are a good 6 months long and our summers don't get as hot or as humid as most states.
Number2---although the fan control does not have an "off" position--the air flow director does and with that in the off...
Yeah--that is pretty much what we did to get at the blend door.
A buddy of mine was able to put a screw in there to hold the blend door wide open.
Now I have warm, glorious, comfortable heat!
And the fan still works and the air flow director still works....all is good!
Have a '99 F250 with 96K miles.
Due to a luke warm heat problem, I need to get at the Blend door.
We have traced down to that for sure.
My question is....anyone here know if I remove the glovebox, can I reach the blend door...just want to open it all the way.thanks
