O.K I checked the compression all fall from 350 to 410psi so I put in a set of reman injectors and install kit. Once I got this thing started it smokes just as bad as it did before I touched it. How ever if I loosen the drivers rear and the pass front cyl injector hard line the white smoke is...

I forgot to say that I pressed the shradder valve at the fuel filter and did not see any air come out just a good flow of fuel

still messin around with this 7.3 if I undo the left rear injection line while the eng is running all what seems to come out of the line is small spurts of fuel that look like soap sudds when this line is off there is a noticeable reduction in white smoke .Is this what i should be seeing out of...

If the clys had low comp would the eng not be hard to start? I tried loosening each high pressure line while it was running and their was a noticeable differance on how the eng was idleing thanx jeff

I finally got this 7.3 running but there is a lot of white smoke comming out of the exaust I have read that this is unburt fuel I do not think its a coolent leak because the the exaust stings my eyes and dose not have that coolant smell rather it smells like its running rich at idle it seems...

I am thinking of swaping my 93 5.8 c6 for an 92 7.3 idi 4eaod are these good engines do the pull harder than the 7.5 gas dose any one know the tourque # and finally would the amount of work to do the swap be worth it I was trying to find the 94.5 and up 7.3 pws turbo but this idi i can get...

hi I am looking to put in a deisel eng in to my 93 f350 it currently has a 5.8 gas(no power) .This guy has an 88 e350 with a deisel eng in it is ther any way to find out if its the 7.3 or 6.? as i have heard the 7.3 is the better eng .would enybody know what are the things i would have to change...
