I'm restoring my grandpas truck and would like to keep the original block for number purposes. I'm restoring this truck frame up. I want 450 to 500 hp for some serious thump under the hood. Money is not really an issue as long as its done right. And I want to be able to drive it down...

can i swap a 460 in place of a 351m manual trans. Will it fit the bell housing. and will it bolt into truck without changing anything.Mike

I'm new here and glad to have found this site. I'm restoring a 1979 (grandpa's) and I'm going to put 35" bfg's on it. Can you guys post some pics of your trucks with 35's and a 6" lift and a 4" lift so as I can see which I like better. I'm leaning to the 6" lift I don't like a crowded wheel...
