Trans went on me so I have a few options
buy a used tranny for 1700 install myself, have mine rebuilt at a shop which will cost 3500, or I have a line on a wrecked 05 king ranch with a new trans and fairly new motor 5.4. I'm just waiting on the seller to find out if its the
4R75E in the king...
I have squeak from the front when I engage 4x4. It will make it when I turn left. Thats what leads me to believe it may be the CV. I've never had a CV fail on me before so I don't know what happens when they start to.
So I'm pleased to say that I love the tires. The biggest difference is in the stopping. The tires bite in amazingly well on snow covered roads which up here are pretty much all of them. Lots or rear tire spin still. Saying that even thought the rears still spin there seams to still be lots of...
The downfall to only having one highway. A brand new $106 000 bride crossing the nipigon just heaved two feet after on day of cold weather.

This has literally cut Canada in half.
I had a feeling it was going to red this time. I wasn't expecting it to be a majority. I don't know how I feel about the change yet. I feel bent over by Harper and his corporate friendly ways. Majority of Canadians are not business owners who also work hard for their money.
Any predictions? We are a NDP riding. I think it may be close with the libs here. Its kinda looking like Harper may have another term. Majority? They say its going to come down to what Quebec does. I never understood how a province that doesn't want to be a part of the country has so much voting...
Went to the ford dealer and asked the cost on the harness. If I want the Ford replacement its going to cost $200. I think I'll order it off amazon and make the trip to the boarder.
Thanks for the info guys. I checked amazon.ca and there wasn't any. Amazon.com had the part. With our dollar being so low and a two hour round trip to the boarder to pick the part up. I think I'll call the dealership and see what price they have. Plus I can get a discount because I have family...
I do have both on my truck. The current 4 pin is corroded. The cap doesn't stay on and it gets full of grim. I would like to replace the 4 pin that's on my truck now. I'm just wondering if I have to cut the old one out to replace it.
To change the 4 pin trailer plug on my truck do I have to cut the wires to replace the 4 pin. Or is the 4 pin a unit that unplugs from the main wiring to avoid having to cut them out to replace? I would like to replace it with a factory 4 pin so it doesn't hang down and fits back into the...
I'm not sure what pressure they are set at. I haven't checked them. Chalk them? I've never heard of chalking a tire. What is the purpose of that? Getting back to your previouse post Duncan, I'll definatly update as to the winter handling.
Just finished road trip from my place to minneapolis. 7 hours both ways. Truck felt planted. Road noise was minimal even when hitting speeds of 140km on the I35 into minny.
Brought the truck in for a set of motormaster total terrain at2. Truck went up on the hoist, wheels came off, tires came off. Then they realized the tires I ordered weren't in stock. Even though the computer said they were. This is the second time this has happend to me at Canadian Tire. So they...
Something is wrong when a thread doesn't go off track. We have a LCBO, for the hard stuff, and The Beer Store for beer. There are Wine Racks in the grocery stores. Every thing is closed down by 10pm. They are all government controlled. The Mac's wants bad to sell beer, but we have stopped them.
oh the whine. Sounds like the power steering. The fluid looks burnt, and I have never changed it since I've had the truck. So I'm going to change the fluid and see if that helps. oh the oil consumption. like what the heck. It doesnt drip, and doesnt have the blues. It just eats it up. not sure...
This thread took a wide right turn. lol. Sorta back onto the subject. I'm not sure in Alberta, but in Ontario we can't buy beer in retail stores. We have the Beer Store (actual name) for that. I always thought Westfair (loblaws) was Canada's biggest retailer. Or maybe its Canada's largest food...
We live in a socialist country that is run by capitalist companies, who treat us like common commies. I would feel free if I could afford it. Heck ya I'd vote for you Duncan. What would be your platform? F@#k off ya free loaders? How about the comp and EI system. We pay for it, but by god don't...
lol. Is the marijuana party still around. I think I'm going to vote for that dude. At least when we say he's gotta be high, its because he actually is.
I feel reamed. Dry reamed. Our premier wants to sell off hydro one to the private sector. We already pay the highest hydro rates in the country. I can't imagine when they do sell we the consumer will see any savings. Like you said, to favor their friends.
Whats going on over there in Alberta Duncan? NDP in a Conservative strong hold!? Sound like Rachel is a stong favorite. Ontario has always been Liberal, and we went Conservative. Quebec went from Liberal to NDP. Might be a interesting election on October 19th.
I know how you are feeling Ken. When it was time to think about selling mine, I came up with all the reasons to keep or sell. The reasons to sell out numbered the reasons to keep. I still miss the old SC. Driving out to camp or going fishing with the family are always going to be fond memories...
