yea ibeen resarching a v8 swap all to geter beings how id spend about the same the the convesion parts cheaper than finding a stock 4.0 trans. or rebuilding mine

any one rebuild a 4R55E automatic trans? found in the 95 to 2000 4.0 ranger iv never rebuit one befor and was thinkg of attemping to do mine to sve a few$$$

if you sill have this issue try pulling of the heater feed and retun lines from the block use an air compressior and blow threw the feed line but only in short burst and try to to exceed 120 psi so not to harm the core onece you do this blow it back threw the return line in the same manner just...
