Well I have an update finally got msd on the phone and I had to replace a wire...but now I found out that I'm 180 off on the timing cause it ignited in the carb plus I'm for some reason not gettin fuel to the carb
I took the cap off and could see where it was sparking to the button..then I pulled a plug and grounded it and turned the motor over and no spark from the plug
I have an msd probillit vaccum advanced distributor..6al box and blaster 2 coil...the coil is sending the spark but its not going to the plugs...and there are no cracks in the cap
The coil is hooked to the ignition box and the box is hooked directly to the battery..and I'm not sure about the fuel...I hit it with starting fluid and it still won't even stumble start it just keeps turnin over
Ok so I finally got my 302 put back in my truck and everything hooked up and it won't crank..I have a new msd igniton in it and its gettin spark from the coil but not delivering it to the plugs...I have ohmed out everything and its all ok...I don't know what's wrong..the only thing I can think...
Sorry my bad flairside...and its got 167000 miles on the truck and 50000 on the motor..it has a little damage to the fiberglass finder but no cracks or dinds..the hood is a little bent and it has a crack in the windshield but everything else works...the paint is in good shape and it doesn't leak...
Hi guys I'm thinking about getting a 94 f150 stepside with a 5.0 out of an explorer its auto with a ttb front with manual warn locking hubs. The. Guy is asking 2500 and it comes with the original motor as well. Just wanted to know if it was a good deal?
Latest update is that all that's left is to get the exhaust on. She has already been cranked with open headers....it was so loud it set off two car alarms and made every dog in the nieghborhood start barkin...lol
I don't have the money for a straight axle plus the ttb was just given to me so I'm gonna use it till I do get the mony...that and it will bolt in where the ibeams are
Latest update is that as soon as the distributor comes in from summit the motor will be done and will be going back in and to anyone who has read my other thread I'm not goin to do the stack pipes..I did a mock up and they didn't look right so I'm just gonna do true duel exhaust...will give pics...
