  1. 79 F-150 Truck Need to replace Dash Pad

O.K. I'll give it a try again. Thanks for the pics and instructions.
  2. 79 F-150 Truck Need to replace Dash Pad

I removed 5 screws. 3 in the middle and two on each end. They were all on the top back edge. Couldn't find any other screws. Also, should this dash pad separate from the instrument cluster cover?
  3. 79 F-150 Truck Need to replace Dash Pad

The dash pad on my 79 F-150 truck is completely cracked and I tried to take it off. So I removed the metal screws along the back edge of the dash pad and tried to lift it off, but it wouldn't budge. It was stuck on the two ends but the middle was loose. Not sure what to do.
  4. 1979 F-150 EGR Block Off

It's not whistling when I'm driving. I wasn't aware of a vac tester, huge learning curve here. I will also look for open ports on the carb. I might have missed something there.

I'm pretty sure I have a leak around my EGR. I was thinking of replacing the EGR with a block off cover. Since I live in rural Idaho and I don't have to deal with emission testing I'm thinking a block off is a good idea, but would appreciate some advice from those more experienced than me.
  8. 1979 F-150 Directional Light problem

Great help from everyone. Problem fixed.
  9. 1979 F-150 Directional Light problem

My directional lights weren't working so I bought a new directional switch. I just put it in and have the same problem as before. I've never really done much repair and made the obvious conclusion that it wasn't the switch. I found out that when the headlights were on the switch was silent. When...
