My backing plate is rotten and falling apart has anyone tried one of the replacements? I see there available at NPT, LMC, dennis carpenter, classic auto parts and bronco graveyard. ThanksI also found that dakota digital has a replacement gauges but can't find out if it replaces the backing...

This is what I found in my carb bowls, I couldn't get the truck to idle correctly so I pulled the carb and this is what I found once it's dried out its just like a powder.
