Ok, have a question here: I know that a dab of sealer is used where the intake corners meet the block, but I also used to smear some around the water jackets on both sides of the intake gasket before putting the intake on. Was that additional sealer unnecessary?
The radiator is missing from the 1979 F100 I just bought, a salvage yard guy told me I could only use 1976-1979. Is this correct, or could 1980-1991 years be used?
Hi out there! After about a year's absence I just acquired a 1979 F150. A friend of mine who scraps cars sent me a couple of photos and $200 later I bought it. Looks to be fairly straight for it's age. I'm guessing it's a 302/351, non A/C and from the 2 shift rods I see at the steering column...
