  1. Metal Brake Lines ?

    Try and use stock pre-made lines and bend them to fit if you can. Brake lines are and should be double flared on the ends which takes a special tool (don't buy a cheap one) and some practice. If you single flare it will eventually break at the fitting. I have taken mine to a hydraulic line shop...

    You might can flush it out yourself and save some money. It's worth a try and can't hurt. Your radiator is not very old and it might come clean if you can just flush the rust out of the rest of the system.

    Dennis, I think I understand your question. The front fits perfectly, it's the rear that seems to long. The stems look to be straight across to me.

  10. Vacuum Canister Question

    Mil1on, This truck 79 F250 4x4 300six-B 4 speed has had all it's emissions removed (except PVC). The vacuum canister is routed to a tee with one leg going to tree on intake and the other leg going to the dash controls. I live in Tennessee...........bart

    I have a 79 F250 4x4 with 300six. Does the vacuum canister (tomato can) have a check valve in the line? I saw one in a diagram for a V-8 but mine does not have one anywhere and I am wondering if a check valve is used to hold a more constant vacuum to the heater a/c controls???.......bart
