Try and use stock pre-made lines and bend them to fit if you can. Brake lines are and should be double flared on the ends which takes a special tool (don't buy a cheap one) and some practice. If you single flare it will eventually break at the fitting. I have taken mine to a hydraulic line shop...
You might can flush it out yourself and save some money. It's worth a try and can't hurt. Your radiator is not very old and it might come clean if you can just flush the rust out of the rest of the system.
I can not tell the exact size of the case by the photo. Mine does not have the tape player but the case looks similar in size. Mine is 6" front to back.

Mil1on, This truck 79 F250 4x4 300six-B 4 speed has had all it's emissions removed (except PVC). The vacuum canister is routed to a tee with one leg going to tree on intake and the other leg going to the dash controls. I live in Tennessee...........bart

Does the vacuum canister (tomato can) have a check valve in the line? I saw one in a diagram for a V-8 but mine does not have one anywhere and I am wondering if a check valve is used to hold a more constant vacuum to the heater a/c controls???.......bart
