I live in Montreal now but I was raised in Northern Quebec in a litlle Pulp & Paper town called Temiscaming.
Really enjoying my new 3:54 differential, had her (my wife named the truck "Bernice" !) out tonight and kept at 60-65 for quite a while, temp barely nudged from the center...

here is a shot of the inside, it's still on a 6 volt positive ground & all instruments work. I added an underdash 12v radio and MP3 using a booster/inverter. Just wanted to hear my Blues music while I was cruising!
Strill has her original V8 Flathead and transmission. It also had it's original differential which was a 4:27 ratio (was an option in 1950). I took it out Thursday and replaced it with a 3:54 from a 1972 Ford F150. Cruised all weekend and even hit a few freeways.....felt great!!

Got my new differential on today and regsitered on this site. I had the original 4:27 and switched for a 3:54. What are you running on the Merc ??
