    Thank you gentlemen. I posted this in no less than four different Ford related forums. I was scared the transmission might be damaged if I tried to move it. I feel a lot better now.

    Today, I was servicing the transmission on my church's 2011 E350 van with a 4R75E transmission.I found this in the pan, and have no idea what it is, or where it should go.Sorry, cellphone camera sucks.
