Agreed, the 7.3's are hard to beat, personally thou I would get at least a '90 model, the turbo International started puttin on these engines around that time makes a difference in power/MPG's. I believe the biggest issues with the 7.3's (in my experience) is that they can be EXTREMELY cold...

I got the 235lbs for the LWB off of my '89 F250, when I pulled the bed off to put the welding bed on, it had this weight written in grease pencil on the frontside (at the plant???)I got the 215lbs for the SWB from my uncles '92 F150, he said thats what it weighed when he took it to the scrapyard.
