1.The manual says 90wt. same in the Diff. I''ve always mixed 50/50 STP/90 wt gear oil for the closed knuckles. 2. The dana 44 has inner axles seals and when there bad gear oil leaks from the Diff. passed the seals flowing into the axle tubes that should be dry.. You have to pull the ring gear...
