Thanks! I've done all the research on the plugs. I happen to have the 2v with the infamous lack of threads in the head. Just going to have to bight the bullet and do it.

I do know what makes the noise but why all of a sudden?

This too has crossed my mind. No codes that I know of. I do need to do the plugs and I did change fuel brands and it has gotten a bit better. :guns: Have to force myself to do thoes damn plugs:headbang:

Funny you say that because I was thinking the same thing. I might ditch the Bomb and go with a Flowmaster 40 or 10 series like I was going to origonally.

Well, after replacing my muffler (with a Cherry Bomb! Don't judge ) my catilytic converter has been making this loud snapping noise like the metal is expanding constantly. My temp is good and no hesitation. What do ya think it could be? Thanks!

Huummmmm!? Not you have me thinking! It has 101k on it. Could it be the cam phasers?

Sounds like the manifold type tap. With it warming up and cooling down regulates the loudness of the tap.

Ok I can hear a little tapping sound from my left bank outside:headbang: You can figure out what I'm thinking! I believe it's the manifold starting to go. Can't quite pin point it yet. What are the major headaches to doing them? I've done a few in my time on other trucks but just want to know...
