I'm happy with the motor. The new paint job not so much. I let my buddy who just finished auto paint classes do it. It doesn't look that bad but the top part between the hood and cab has started to flake and chip off and it's taking what was left of the old paint with it

Im trying to find gauges to make a custom instrument cluster since my printed circuit board keeps giving me issues and most of the guages on it fail to work an im having issues finding a speedometerAlso would it just be cheaper to order the parts from lmc truck and rebuild it?

well i finally got time to run through the the motor some more and discovered that the previous owner had the carb running way too rich and that was my timing and vac issues he had 400 jets for the primarys and i couldnt read what the secondaries were but she is running a whole lot smoother now

do u still have that fan shroud for sale for the 460 and how much do u want for it

i replaced the top end because the camshaft was worn down and 2 pushrods were bent so i put in a new cam ,lifters ,pushrods and added a weiland stealth intake when i crank it i can see the oil coming to the top on each of the rockers

well im gonna tear it down and let yall know but my step dad just found me a 71 ltd he says it has a 460 in it and its only 300 dollars and it runs great i think im just gonna swap that into my truck for now while i rebuild the other motor im tired of just looking at my poor truck and u can...

i rebuilt the top end the engine is a 460 the only bearings i had the guy look at were the cam bearings and it holds oil pressure till the temp gets to about 190 then its at zero now if i idle it up some the pressure comes back depending on the rpm
