Update #2. Even though the sending unit is fixed, looks like the gauge is on it's last leg. Time to hunt down a new one or hook up an after market one.
StallingThanks Frank. I went out and started it up a little bit ago. It idled high but it didn't die. I let it run for over five minutes. I did notice a bit of oil leaking on the front of the engine just below and to the left of the right manifold, looked like coming from the seal. I did...
Last week when I put gas in my truck, the attendant misunderstood me and put supreme in the tank instead of super. I drove it for a few days with no problem. Last night I drove it about six miles, parked it for a few minutes and then when I started to drive home, it stalled on me when I come to...
Thanks guys, I'll try to get a mechanical gauge on it soon. What weight of oil do you all typically run? I'm in the Pacific Northwest and am using 10W30 high mileage. Should I switch?

FatherDoug- That's what is strange, all the other indications line-up perfectly. Reverse is the only one not lining up. you have to push the pin on the switch all the way to the left (beyond park) to get the reverse lights to come on. This was the case with 4 different switches. She starts in...
DNFXDLI- Not that I can figure out. It seems to be something more in the switch or wiring itself. It's really weird, everything else lines up. You can start it in park and neutral, but not in reverse, drive, 1st or 2nd, which is how it should be. This is both when mounted to the column or when...
