About to start rebuilding the 351W out of my 77 f100. Any tips or advice. Leaning towards a stroker kit. Has a C6 transmission what upgrades should I look for it?

So I have a 1977 Ford f100 with a (what I think is an all stock) 351W. I got a mean knock on the passenger side of the motor and a tick on the driver side from the valve cover. Thinking about tearing it apart and rebuilding it. Any ideas or recommendations? Wanting to build something that moves...
