First diesel engine, 99 e350 super duty with 7.3 Powerstroke 88k miles. It hasn't been too cold lately, mid 40's to upper 50's but this thing will not start unless plugged in for almost an hour. Once its running it will start right back up. All i've done so far is two new batteries, oil/filter...
What would cause 5 gallons of fuel to go unused like that, the tank does look about 18 gallons. The gauge still goes to empty though, is there anyway to adjust it. I've never pushed itthat far past Empty, maybe the gauge is saying empty and there's still 5 gallons left?
if you got one reverse lamp working, maybe you can just run a jumper between them and then cap the dead one off, they should function together anyway. Mine are out too thats tomorrows project if the weather holds out, i think mine is just a dirty connector at the trans
1980 f350, front wheels are in at the bottom out on the top. how do i fix it? Is the camber spacer just worn down? I thought if the ball joints are bad the top would be in and the bottoms out?

I just picked up a 1980 f350 think its the 5.8L. It runs fine except whenever i take it out of gear it revs really high, even in gear it seams to be way too high. Its not the idle screw, I backed it out all the way, made no difference. I think something is wrong with the choke, more closed than...
