Wait???? the header wrap collects moisture? wouldnt the heat from the pipes themselves make it all evaporate? I found some 1200 degree paint made for headers should i go that route?
Im taking my headers off and i got one the other is unbolted and now its getting stuck on the steering box and when i go from underneath it will hit the steering rod. any Advice? Im trying to wrap then in the cool looking Heat Wrap.
I drove my truck perfectly fine from point A to point B. went back to drive it and now it wont turn over. Im running 675 cold cranking amps. So its not the battery it makes NO sound when i turn the key. Ive tried in neutral and still nothing.?? would it be the starter? I hope not.
Ok my gas gauge isn't working and i learned that it may have somehting to do with the ground. Can i just run the orange wire from the sender straight to the gauge and ground both the sender and the gauge then hook it up to the ignition? Or how do i do it?. Thanks
Its got a 390. I live in Sacramento California. Near Roseville and Folsom. so the smog pump there are 3 hoses the 2 that go to the maifolds and the one that goes and hooks up behind the carb.
What are the points .017? and what would cause popping when i accelerate? i replaced the following....spark plugs and wires voltage regulator. all the hoses. and air cleaner... I still have the smog pump on do i have to cap everything off or is it fine without capping it off??? and on the fuel...
