EGR Delete with tuner

Looking for specifics about past experiences doing this.
I have a 2010 6.4L that get 8-12 MPG if I'm lucky and i want to make some changes. I DO NOT need or want more horsepower thru a new tune, just want to get all of the smog crap off my truck andget some decent MPG

I also live in Baja so I'm not worried about US emissions or getting caught

My regen never seems to complete it cycle, very afraid of losing this motor in the next 20K due to Fords bad engineering

Possible Spartan with total EGR delete cost $1,200-1,800 thats a lot of gas

HELP

I don't have the 6.4, but my dealer here did the EGR delete on my 6.0 and supplied me with an H&S tuner and I picked up just under 3mpg.
