It`s not as big a deal as it seems. My 93 runs just fine with an 89 computer. Is the sticker with the four digit code for the computer still intact in the door jamb? That will lead you in the right direction.
Grab any 460/E4OD computer you can find and try it. I`ve got one out of a 94 you can have. It`s just sitting on the shelf in the garage doing nothing. Just make sure not to get one out of a Cali or Massachusets OBD II truck. Unless you plan on converting to mass air.
