Hello. A newbie here. I'm 76 years old and have been working on cars and trucks (mostly Fords) since I did a brake job on my dad's '50 Merc in 1955. I currently have 3 Fords: my current DD is an '89 F250 with a 351W/S542ZF, a '69 Galaxie 500 four door with a 390/FMX which I'd like to unload, and a '51 Victoria with a 351W/C4, that I've been working on for the last 25 years. The F250 has a leaking clutch slave cylinder that I'm considering having my tranny guy replace, along with the rest of the clutch parts (as long as I'm in there syndrome). I've done many clutch jobs before, but wrestling that big 5 speed tranny on the garage floor seems like too much at my age. It's good to be here and I'm sure I'll have many questions in the future and maybe I can share a bit of my experience with the other members.
